This is an intermediate-level project.

This 70” x 70” medallion quilt includes a large Fat Robin 16-Point Round Sunflower with a fussy cut center surrounded by more four flower shaped Fat Robin 16-Point Compass Sunflower blocks. Appliqué faced petals, vines, and leaves have been added to create this soft but stunning quilt. Imagine yourself taking a walk along the Thames and the flora and fauna you might see.

This quilt will be done in the Morris & Co. fabric collection by FreeSpirit Fabrics in colors similar to, but not exactly the same as the pattern cover. The fabrics Audrey is using are shown in the second photo.

Important Note: Half the kits for this BOM will use the blush flowers background for the corner triangles shown in the third photo and half will use the less busy tan leaves background shown in the third photo. The blush background is more similar to the pattern cover. The tan leaves background is perfect if you want your applique to really stand out. Both will make a beautiful quilt.  Participants may choose their background on a first come, first served basis (Audrey will contact you for your choice after sign-up).

This is a 5-month program that includes the monthly fabric kit, and either the monthly Demo class by Audrey on the second Thursday of each month from 7 - 8 PM (plus the monthly BOM Sunday Sew) OR free shipping within the continental US.

Tools required for this BOM are listed below. Your BOM sign-up includes 10% off the tools. Please specify the tools you want to purchase when you call to put your credit card on file for the monthly BOM charges.
 - Fat Robin 16-Point Mariner’s Compass Book and Ruler combo (or the former Fat Robin 60-degree Mariner's Compass Book and Ruler combo and Fat Robin Companion Booklet). 
 - Robin Ruth Angle Ruler

Monthly kits include everything you need to make the quilt top and binding. Monthly, you will receive a portion of the fabric to make that month's portion of the quilt top. You will receive the full pattern and 5-1/3 yds of Pellon 45 interfacing in the first month (this is used to face all the medallions for applique and for the individual applique motifs in the corners).

Once you sign up, Audrey will contact you to choose your outer triangle background choice.

This item is for the Thames Ramble BOM Reservation and Mo 5 Payment. Once you sign up, this is a non-cancellable commitment. You must call the shop during normal business hours and put your credit card on-file for the monthly payments of $49.99 for Month 1 through Month 4, (January 2026 - April 2026). Your card will be charged the first week of each month. Kits will be available by the end of the first week of each month or on class day. If you wish for your kit to be shipped, do not choose shipping at checkout; instead, add a note at checkout and let the staff know when you call to put your Credit Card on file.

Reservation Fee (Covers Pattern + Pellon 45 + Month 5 payment) = $71.99. 
Months 1 - 4, $49.99/month (charged the first week of Jan-Apr 2026).
