Don't miss out on this gorgeous batik Butterfly BOM with fabrics curated by Audrey. This project uses the Wonder Curve Ruler and the Butterfly Fields book, both from the designers at Sew Kind of Wonderful. The Wonder Curve Ruler is a great tool to easily achieve curved elements in your quilt blocks. The curved edge of the butterfly wings are made with this tool, and it is the same process each month - so you will hone your skills with this ruler! To keep it interesting- each butterfly has a different quilt block within its two wings! You will make two butterflies per month over the course of this 10 month BOM program.
3rd photo shows the fabric palette for the wings, 4th photo shows the fabric backgrounds, 5th photo shows our customer Sandie E's quilt which inspired Audrey to put together this as a BOM.
Each butterfly has two accent fabrics (included in the BOM kits but not pictured here) for the mini block within it's wings.
This is an Adventurous Beginner project and perfect for anyone wanting to learn curved piecing and improve their traditional piecing.
This is a 10 month program. This "Reservation fee & Month 10" payment includes the Butterfly Fields Book (which you will receive with your Month 1 fabric kit), and the fabric kit you will receive in Month 10.
NOT INCLUDED- is the required Wonder Curve Ruler. You may purchase it here.
Binding and backing is not included.
This program commitment and pricing is as follows:
Reservation Fee (Covers Pattern Book + Month 10 payment) = $56.99 plus tax.
Months 1 - 9, $26.99/month plus tax (charged the first week of August '26 - April '27).
BOM Total = $299.90 plus tax

NOTE: This item is for the reservation for the Butterfly Fields BOM and includes the registration fee, book/pattern fee, and Mo 10 payment. Once you sign up, this is a non-cancellable commitment. You must call the shop during normal business hours and put your credit card on-file for the monthly payments of $26.99/mo for Mo 1-9 (August 2026 - April 2027). Your card will be charged the first week of each month, plus tax. Kits will be available by the end of the first week of each month. If you wish for your kits to be shipped, do not select shipping at checkout, but rather make a note at checkout and let the staff know when you call to put your Credit Card on-file.
*Purchase of this BOM entitles you attend the monthly BOM Sunday Sew, hosted by Audrey, from August 2026 - May 2027. BOM Sunday Sew is usually 10am - 4pm the second Sunday of each Month (dates may vary due to holidays). Seats at the BOM Sunday Sew are limited so be sure to check the calendar and sign up for a seat as these events become available.
