A reduced-sheen polyester monofilament invisible thread. Great for invisible thread applications. MonoPoly is .004" (.1mm) in diameter (90 denier) = Very fine thread. Advantages of MonoPoly monofilament over nylon: Reduced sheen, heat resistant, iron and dryer safe (to medium heat), will not become brittle over time, will not discolor, strong with low stretch, soft and pliable. Recommended needle: for home machines Superior Topstitch #70/10 or Microtex #60/8, for long arm machines #14 (MR 3.0).
