Ukrainian Mug Rug Kit - 100% of Purchase Price Donated to Unicef
Help us honor the spirit of the Ukrainian people and raise money for Unicef. Since late February 2022, 10 million Ukrainians (1/4 of the population) have been displaced or become refugees. Unicef estimates that over half of all Ukrainian children have been forced to leave their homes. 100% of the purchase price of our Ukrainian Mug Rug kit will be donated to Unicef, one of the aid organizations helping displaced Ukrainian children and youth. Each time you use your mug rug, you will be reminded of the courage and determination of the Ukrainian people. Hopefully, soon we will see lovely fields of sunflowers across Ukraine once again.
Almost everything is included in the kit to complete your mug rug. You will need an erasable marking pen to draw on your embroidery design. You can sew around the edges of your mug rug using a sewing machine or by hand using regular quilting thread. Have a permanent marking pen handy, so you can sign the back of your mug rug.
Fabrics for the front will be blue and yellow in the approximate colors of the Ukrainian flag, but exact fabrics included in the kit may vary from those shown in the photos.
