Introduction to English Paper Piecing (EPP) with Carol Dockery

Join Carol for this all-inclusive class to learn the basics of English Paper Piecing (EPP). You will receive all the materials to make an 18" x 18" cushion top or table topper using some Lollie strips (several color-ways to choose from) and Gathered BonBon Mini charms by Jen Kingwell. All the necessary templates, hexagon papers, and notions to get you started are included in the class fee.

We will cover all the basics including several different methods for basting and hexagon prep as well as stitching tips. You will not finish your project in class, however, you will learn enough (and have all the supplies) to ensure that you can finish your top at home.

This is the perfect introduction to EPP to help you decide if it's for you! We will be offering a 10-month EPP program beginning in 2027 to make Tula Pink's Nova quilt in her Floral Reef line. So, check out EPP - once you start, you may never give it up!

NOTE: Please bring a wooden clapper at least 2" wide or a heavy book with you to class. We will use it to weigh down the glue-basted hexagons while the glue dries.
