Scrappy Mountains Foundation Paper Piecing Workshop with Diane Dalton

Those pads of foundation paper are very enticing, but using them can be a little intimidating. Join Diane for a 3-hour workshop to explore how to use the Scrappy Mountains Foundation Papers from Leila Gardunia Design. You will use these versatile papers to easily create highly accurate, stunning 3" x 6" quilt blocks that can be made into the wall hanging shown. The foundation pad includes 50 different mountain designs. Not too small, but complex enough to really hone your foundation paper piecing skills. This class includes the papers, fabric, and use of The Granary sewing machines. You will need to bring a few extra supplies.

This class includes instruction, use of The Granary sewing machines, the foundation paper pad, fabric kit, and thread. You will need to bring a few basic paper-piecing supplies (see below) or call ahead to purchase them at a 10% discount.

This is an intermediate-level quilting class. You should have experience rotary cutting, machine piecing, and either have taken beginning paper-piecing (beginner class is here)  or have solid foundation paper-piecing knowledge.

Included in your class fee:
 - 3 hours of instruction
 - Use of The Granary sewing machines
 - Scrappy Mountains Foundation Paper Pad from Leila Gardunia Design
 - Kit to make the Scrappy Mountains wall hanging shown in greens or blues (fabric for the top, backing, binding, and batting included)
 - 1 Small Spool Metter thread

 - 6" Add-a-Quarter Ruler or 12" Add-a-Quarter Ruler
 - Glue Stick - we recommend the Sewline Water-soluble Glue Stick (refillable)
 - 45mm Rotary Cutter - 1 blade included

 - 8" x 11" - 18" x 24" cutting mat
 - Wool pressing mat - 9" x 12" or larger
