Circle Game Grand Haven Wall Hanging Hand Applique and Sashiko Workshop with Dianne Sheppard

Learn two wonderful hand work techniques in this Circle Game Grand Haven Wall Hanging Workshop with Dianne Sheppard. Dianne is our resident hand applique expert and will teach you all the necessary skills to hand applique perfect circles. She will also introduce you to basic Sashiko stitching to quilt and enhance your project. This is an all-inclusive class; pattern, kit, and supplies included; just sign up and show up for class!

The Circle Dance wall hanging using Grand Haven mini-charm pack is 17" x 19".

Dianne will guide you through using heat-resistant templates to turn your circle edges. She will show you how-to hand applique the circles in place using an 80wt thread that makes your stitches disappear! Once you've mastered your hand applique technique, she will show you how to do the easy Sashiko running stitches that will finish your wall hanging. You will get a practice sandwich to try out the Sashiko stitching.

You won't finish the wall hanging in class, but you'll receive enough instruction and all the materials necessary to finish it at home. As sewing machine at home for sewing the borders and binding is useful, but not required.
