Beginning Cross Stitch Class with Megan Gazard (Adults and Children 14 and Up With Accompanying Adult)

Join Megan for this beginner class that will teach you everything you need to learn to get started cross-stitching. She will cover basic stitches, how to read patterns, how to choose materials, starting and ending threads, and finishing techniques. This is an all-inclusive class, all materials will be provided including fabric, thread, needles and the pattern Stitchy Stars designed by Lori Holt.

This class is suitable for adventurous adults and children 14 and up with accompanying adult with no prior cross stitch experience

You will not finish the Stitchy Stars project in class, but you will get a good start on the project and have plenty of one on one time with an experienced instructor and be in a supportive environment where you can ask questions and connect with other new stitchers.  All you need is a willingness to learn and a passion for creating something special with your hands.  - 14 ct Aida cloth and DMC floss
 - Small embroidery scissors, cross stitch needles, and needle threader
 - 6" embroidery hoop
 - Plaque for finishing your project (similar, but not identical to photo)
 - Project pouch
