Pineapple Foundation Paper-Piecing Workshop with Diane Dalton

Those pads of foundation paper are very enticing, but can be a little intimidating. Join Diane for a 4-hour workshop to explore how to use these versatile papers to easily create highly accurate, stunning quilt blocks. You'll use the 6" Pineapple Foundation paper from It's Sew Emma in this workshop - not too small and difficult, but petite enough to really hone your foundation paper piecing skills. A few tools are required and of course fabrics. You can choose your own, or purchase a kit.

This class is appropriate for confident beginning quilters. You should have experience rotary cutting and machine piecing. Foundation paper piecing experience is helpful, but not required.

Supplies and fabrics are required for this class and purchased separately. Be sure to download the supply/prep list below. Note that two fabric kits are available for purchase for this workshop or you can bring your own fabrics.

This class is perfect for visitors to the Bay area. Call ahead and reserve your supplies and rent a sewing machine from us. No fabric prep is required.

Required Supplies:
- 6" Pineapple Foundation by It's Sew Emma (1 pad required)
- 6" Add-a-Quarter Ruler or 12" Add-a-Quarter Ruler
- Glue Stitck - we recommend the Sewline Water-soluble Glue Stick (refillable)
- 45mm Rotary Cutter - 1 blade included
- 36-6" Blocks Pineapple Kit with dark background or 36-6" Blocks Pineapple Kit with light backgroud or see supply list for your own fabrics

Optional Supplies:
- 8" x 11" - 18" x 24" cutting mat
- Wool pressing mat - 9" x 12" or larger
- Mini-iron
- Violet Craft Seam Roller
