Runaround Zipper Bag Class for Adults with Pam Fereira (and Teens 12 and up with accompanying adult)

Have you completed the Beginning Sewing for Adults class? Ready for the next step? Would you like to learn about putting in zippers? If so, then this is the class for you! Learn how to make this trendy, over-the-shoulder hipster zipper bag in no time. Best of all the class is all-inclusive. The kit and materials are provided and you use The Granary's sewing machines and tools. You just show up and have fun!

This class is for confident beginners that have completed a basic sewing class:
-- You must be familiar with how-to use a sewing machine.
-- Rotary cutting experience a plus, but not required.
-- This is a perfect, next-level class after the Beginning Machine Sewing (7-Pocket Apron) class (or equivalent).

You will learn rotary cutting, sewing in a zipper, making a strap, finishing inside seams and how-to use a zipper and walking foot.

Teens 12 and up are welcome to attend, with an attending adult, if they have completed our tweens beginning sewing class (or equivalent).

4 hour class includes:
-- The Madelyn Runaround Bag Kit (panel to make two bags*, zippers, and fusible fleece).
-- Use of The Granary sewing machines and tools.

* Note that most students will complete 1 bag in class. You may complete the second bag at home.

Class fee includes all materials and use of Granary sewing machines and tools.
