Free Motion Quilting I - The Basics

Turn your quilt tops into beautiful finished projects faster than ever before! Learn the basics of free-motion quilting for basic fill designs (e.g.  meandering, loops, and stippling). The secret is the right tools and practice, practice, practice!

All materials provided. bring your own sewing machine or rent one from us (click here to rent a machine). No preparation is necessary. Just show up!.

Make sure your sewing machine is in good working order and that you know how to use it. There will not be time in class to diagnose issues with your machine. You will need a free-motion quilting foot or an open-toe embroidery foot for your machine for this class. Bring all your machine attachments, the manual, and don't forget the power cord and foot pedal!

For class materials you will receive:
 - 2 quilt sandwiches for practice
 - thread
