A Note from Paula

There are so many new programs starting or continuing in the shop that we are just going to dive right in!

To start...we have two new Block of the Month Programs in progress that you won’t want to miss. The Amish with a Twist II BOM began in April and the Provence & Beyond BOM began in May. There’s still plenty of time to sign up for either or both. You’ll find descriptions of each on the Events page.

Shop Hop is just around the corner! It’s not too early to start making plans to visit 13 of the Bay Area’s best quilt shops from San Mateo to the Monterey Bay and the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles! You’ll have 5 days to tour the stores and see a huge variety of fabric, books, patterns and other quiltrelated merchandise. Have your passport stamped, do a little shopping and maybe even meet new quilting friends along the way. Each shop hopper who turns in a completed passport will automatically receive a special gift and be entered into a drawing for many fantastic prizes. Pick up your official Shop Hop by the Bay 2013 newsletter at the Granary or visit www.shophopbythebay.com for more details! You’re sure to be inspired!

We are making a few changes to our very popular Double Delight program. You will still enjoy demos and fun projects and of course Lauren’s yummy desserts! Membership will now be offered in 6-month increments to make it easier for new-comers to join mid-way through the year. We are now taking sign ups for the July—December time frame. Reserve your spot for $30/6 months. More information can be found on on our Events page.

There are quite a few new classes being offered this summer. Spend some time perusing our class schedule. Summer is a great time to learn a new technique or brush up on your skills. Our on-going “finish it” classes are always great for getting those projects done! Be sure to visit the home page and sign up for our email updates. We add classes periodically and update you on what’s happening in the quilting community….you don’t want to miss out!!.

Hope to see you soon! In the meantime, Happy Quilting!
